Director Jenkins is excited about bringing Wonder Woman to a new generation and hinted at the possibility of including TV icon Lynda Carter in the sequel. Carter, who portrayed the superhero on television from 1975 to 1979, is a dear mentor and friend to Jenkins. Although they couldn’t work together on the first movie due to scheduling conflicts, Jenkins teased that they are still working on making it happen.
