Jennifer Lopez is defying age with her amazing curves, even as she nears the age of 52. In a recent interview with InStyle Magazine, the Hustlers star revealed that she hasn’t increased her workout regimen, but has rather found a more efficient and effective way to stay in shape.
“I’m currently in the best shape of my life. Back in my 20s and 30s, I used to work out, but not with the same intensity as I do now. I haven’t increased my workout time, I’ve just become smarter and more focused in my approach. And the results speak for themselves,” said the mother of twins, Max and Emme.
Body image: Despite being in her 50s, Jennifer Lopez continues to flaunt her gorgeous curves. In a recent interview with InStyle Magazine, the Hustlers star revealed that she isn’t necessarily exercising more now, just putting in more effort.
Looking good: “I’m feeling fantastic! Back in my 20s and 30s, I used to exercise, but now I’ve really amped it up. It’s not about more time at the gym, it’s about intensity and efficiency. And let me tell you, it pays off,” shared the mother of Max and Emme.
Standing at around 5ft5in and weighing about 139lbs, with a 26inch waistline, the former Fly Girl is clearly in incredible shape.
This conversation came about when her former fiancé, Ben Affleck, jokingly asked, “Where are you hiding the fountain of youth? You look exactly the same as you did in 2003, while I feel like I’m aging by the minute.”
With a smile, Lopez responded, “No secrets here, just good old JLo Beauty. And I’m sharing all my tips with everyone through my products. Ben never fails to crack me up! He’s still looking pretty sharp too.”
It was then that the Jenny From The Block singer admitted, “Honestly, I think I’m in the best shape of my life. Can’t argue with that!”

Jennifer emphasized that she doesn’t work out daily to look good, but rather to feel good about herself. She believes in prioritizing her health over her appearance. In her younger years, she exercised but not as intensely as she does now. Jennifer mentioned that working out smarter and harder has been more beneficial and efficient for her. She feels that when you do things for the right reasons, you end up looking better as a result.
During 2019, her personal trainer revealed her workout routine, which includes exercises like ab raises, push-ups, crunches, lunges, and the use of weight machines for her legs. In addition, Ryan Seacrest, who worked alongside her on American Idol, mentioned Jennifer’s approach to food. He shared how she encourages him to enjoy treats in moderation rather than restricting himself completely.
In response to Ryan’s comments, Jennifer teased about sharing her special cookie recipe one day, hinting at indulging in treats while maintaining a balanced lifestyle. She humorously mentioned calling her recipe “J-dough” and expressed her love for those cookies, which hold a special place in her heart.
